Since the first large scale mass production of turbo on internal combustion engines (in the 90’s for diesel, in the 2000’s for petrol), Sogefi develops, manufactures and delivers Turbo outlets made of high temperature resistant technical composite in substitution of metallic components.

Sogefi engineering teams design tailored solutions compliant with the most severe engine environment thanks to an adapted shape, quick-connecting parts, and integrated resonators.

The market trends for fuel consumption reduction and increased downsizing increase the air pressure and temperature conditions at the turbo outlet. Based on its process expertise in injection moulding, Sogefi provides high tech plastic solutions withstanding pressure boosts of up to 2.5 bar and temperatures up to 220°C. Solutions for higher pressures and temperatures are in preparation.
